Stateline sits at the California–Nevada border on Lake Tahoe's south shore. Boaters moving between launch points, seasonal slips and storage should verify their existing assigned number before designing a replacement vinyl kit. For a boat used across Lake Tahoe’s state line, separate the launch destination from the assigned registration. A new number kit does not replace inspection, registration or other boating documents; check those independently before a trip.

Choosing a number layout for Stateline boats
A deep-V bow and sweeping hull graphics can leave very little uninterrupted space for the prefix and digits. Measure the complete number sequence on both sides, checking the character height and any state validation-sticker area. A bright contrasting finish usually reads more clearly than low-contrast lettering matched to a boat's accent stripe.
Lake Tahoe location and registration jurisdiction are different: a boat near Stateline can legally carry an assigned registration number from another state, depending on the vessel's circumstances. Do not change the prefix in your customizer simply to match the harbor or marina where it is used.
